We begin with a visit to Gangchon Rail Park is a popular attraction allowing visitors a fun and active way to fully take in all of the beautiful countryside surroundings along Bukhan River, while enjoying a relaxing pedal over discontinued railway tracks on a chain-driven cycle.
Our next stop is Nami Island (Namiseom), reached by short ferry ride, a 400,000 square meter, half-moon shaped isle on Bukhan River. Nami Island’s natural beauty and tree lined pathways have gained fame after recent appearances in popular Korean dramas.
The trip to Nami Island is quickly followed up by another location made famous by television and film shoots, Petite France. A charming French cultural village on the outskirts of Seoul, Petite France, or “little France” is dedicated to French author Saint-Exupery. It features a collection of pretty, colorful buildings that wouldn’t look out of place nestled on the French Riviera.
The final stop, before drop-off back to Seoul, is The Garden of Morning Calm. A source of great pride to Koreans, this is a grand garden where art meets nature with spectacular results. In addition to the beautifully sculpted garden flowers, trees and pathways, seasonal festivals add a further layer of breathtaking artistry and elegance to this already stunning garden paradise.
